A New Pitching Rule was approved to help develop game experience for new 10U and 12U pitchers:

• 10U:  Pitchers are permitted to pitch from the “L” position. The “L” position is defined as “starting the motion with the ball in the pitching hand above and behind the head, glove hand out, lead foot in front of the rubber, and back foot on the rubber.”
• 12U:  Opposing coaches may agree to allow developmental pitchers to pitch from the L position during a game, with prior discussion. The “L” position is defined as “starting the motion with the ball in the pitching hand above and behind the head, glove hand out, lead foot in front of the rubber, and back foot on the rubber.”

Danielle Smith will return as the Age Group Commissioner for the 10U division, assuming that one is scheduled for the year.
Elizabeth-Forward will not be fielding a 15U team in any rec ball league this year.
The scheduling meeting will be held on Sunday, April 3. Start time is 5:00 PM for community directors and the League Board, and 6:00 PM for the scheduling function. The site is the White Oak Athletic Association gymnasium.

Season Start Dates were determined:

• 10U and 12U:  Start May 9, End June 17. Week of June 20 may be used for make-up dates. Playoffs begin on June 27.
• 15U:  Start May 16, End July 8. Playoffs begin on July 11
• 18U:  Start May 16, End July 8. Playoffs begin on July 11
• 10U Clinic formats were determined. Dates and sites to be finalized at the scheduling meeting.
• Session 1:  Throwing, Pitching and Catching, Baserunning, Agility Training Drills
• Session 2:  Throwing, Fielding Session 3:  Throwing, Hitting and Bunting
• Session 4:  Throwing, Hitting and Bunting

• 10U:  8-9 teams
• 12U:  11-12 teams
• 15U:  10-11 teams
• 18U:  4 teams confirmed (Monroeville, Plum, Penn Hills, and PAL) and  possibly Woodland Hills
